Delaware & Hudson by Kip Grant

The 100% sceniced 13’x19’ Sonnyvale Branch is a fictitious 7 mile branch of the D&H set in the fall of 1962 operated with QSI sound equipped locos.  The point-to-point operation of freight and passenger trains is loosely patterned after operations on the D&H Lake George Branch.  Two yard jobs handle switching chores for 12 on-line customers and 100 team track customers. The Hill Freight links both yards with inbound/outbound freight.  This highly detailed layout also features a short branch to an industrial area.  This railroad will be featured in the 2011 issue of Great Model Railroads.
