With less than three months to go until we welcome you to Burlington,

we are putting the final details in place for the NER’s 2010 Champlain Flyer Convention.  The Sheraton Burlington Hotel is beginning to fill up.  The convention rate cut off is 5:00PM on August 10, 2010, so don’t delay making your reservations.

The extensive clinic schedule is posted with thirty six individual clinics, encompassing a wide variety of model and prototype subjects including two extended time make-and-take clinics.  There are still a couple of open time slots available so if you have a clinic you would like to present contact Paul Allard, MMR at pallard@wildblue.net .  The Non-Rail clinic schedule can also be seen at the bottom of the Rail Clinic schedule.

The Operation Callboard web page is completed with photos and layout descriptions of seven layouts offering forty four operating slots available on a first come first served basis.  In addition, we will have our Green Mountain Division project modules of Bellows Falls, VT available at the hotel for you to operate throughout the weekend.  The layouts scheduled for open house tours are being added as we are able to obtain photos of them.

Outside activities, including the Prototype Tours, Non-Rail Tours and Local Area Attractions are available on their own web pages.  Information on our other inside activities, including the Model and Photo Contests, Banquet and after dinner Entertainment Program is available as well.  Remember to bring a model or photo for those respective Showcases even if you don’t want to enter the contests so others can see what you have been up to.
